John Scott

“Confidently told hilarious tales of class-based woe, nothing missed the mark in a superb set where every story was expertly crafted before being subverted with a killer punch line. After practicing comedy for five arduous years, expect to see his name somewhere big very soon.” THE LIST.

Born in Bonnyrigg, just outside Edinburgh, John Scott started stand-up in 1999 at the Stand comedy club in the city, after taking part in one of the venue’s comedy workshops. In 2010, he won £12,000 -– the biggest prize in comedy – in theTake The Mic competition for Scottish comedians, run by Caledonian Brewery and the Scottish Sun.
