Grace Jarvis

Grace Jarvis is a stand-up comedian and writer. She has been told that her material is too dark for how sweet her face is, but, unfortunately, she cannot change either. An Antipodean expat, she has performed three highly acclaimed solo shows at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, the most recent two being directed by cult favourite Laura Davis. She has won multiple writing awards, has been described as “the world’s cheeriest nihilist” and has had several people come up to her on the street to compliment her prolific twitter presence.
“it’s rare to see a comic land as many punchlines as effortlessly as Grace Jarvis” – The Age (AU)
“outwardly winsome & internally complex, Jarvis is a delight” – The Scotsman (UK)
“razor-sharp, vulnerable, honed comedy… she is a star!” Tim Batt (The Worst Idea of All Time)
