Ella has been described as an “acerbic storytelling comedian” by someone that knew what “acerbic” meant. With beginnings in sketch comedy, her work has been shortlisted for the BBC Caroline Ahearne Award 2021 and a Funny Women Award 2022. A transition to stand-up secured her the British Comedy Guide Starter Comedian Award in 2022
