It’s the wildly wordy world of SOUNDS LIKE – a unique comedy panel show based around improvised rhyme – a sort of badly-behaved Battle Rap offspring of QI and Shooting Stars.
Brought to you by the creative powerhouse DOC BROWN’s Bust-A-Gut Productions and hosted by Rap Titan SHUFFLE T, this show tests the rhyming chops of notable folk from all walks of entertainment with nothing but their wits to carry them – Yes, well done on the Olympic golds, Sir Mo Farah, now find a four-syllable rhyme for Chewy Dough Balls. Potential car crash, right? WRONG! We’ve already taken the format on the road, playing to packed venues at Soho 21, The Pleasance Theatre and Soho House in London as well as a tub-thumping, sell-out week in a 200-seater at the Underbelly during the Edinburgh Fringe. It’s chaotic, unpredictable hilarity every time – no two shows are ever the same!
