Pete Jonas moved to London from Melbourne to continue a promising marketing career. Instead, he found himself unable to contain the increasing number of wise cracks in his head and a desire to rant about things from the stage.
His 2006 Edinburgh show, ‘Brokeback Britain’, received the official ‘sold out’ award and 4-star reviews. His 2010 show, ‘Dark Side of the Poon’, was “one of the most talked about shows at the Edinburgh Fringe” (GETCOMEDY.COM).
He has regularly performed at Britain’s leading comedy clubs, including The Comedy Store, The Banana Cabaret, Komedia, Comedy Carnival, Covent Garden Comedy Club, Jongleurs and is resident MC at London’s Comedy Tree.
As an Australian born Greek, he enjoys travelling and has performed around the world, including shows in New York, Australia, Singapore, Holland, Switzerland and Spain.
