Jack Barry is a relative newcomer to the comedy circuit and speaks Chinese. He performs stand up and sketch comedy. He will be heading up to the Edinburgh Fringe this summer as part of the Pleasance Comedy Reserve.

He recently supported James Acaster on the UK tour of his Edinburgh Award-nominated show ‘Prompt.’

He performed at the BBC Comedy Tent at the 2012 Edinburgh Festival as part of BBC Comedy Presents. He has also performed in shows for CKP and at nights at Up The Creek and Knock 2 Bag.

He is the resident compere at Mild Friends Comedy Club, in Oxford, of which he is a co-founder.

Jack is also a member of sketch group Twins, with Annie McGrath, who will also be going to the Edinburgh Fringe this year in affiliation with the Invisible Dot. He is a former member of HMS Ship.

As a student he wrote and performed as part of the critically acclaimed Leeds Tealights from 2009 to 2011, taking shows to the 2010 and 2011 Edinburgh Festivals. In 2010 they were named the best student sketch group at the fringe
